Gratitude For Home And It’s Role In Emotional Wellness

Home is where family unites, memories get created, and laughter continues.

Though home is a physical house, apartment or space where person or family lives, but for many home is emotional comfort and a sense of belonging.

And therefore, expressing gratitude for our wonderful living space is our responsibility.

Let’s take a time to say thank you to our wonderful home.

Let’s start a thread of gratitude for our lovely home

Today, I am thankful for my comfortable home because it provides me and my family a shelter, safety and security.

I am thankful for my lovely family members living with me in this home. They gives me a sense of belonging and safety. 

Thank you for basic necessities available at my home including drinking water, healthy food and lovely clothing.

I am thankful for beautiful garden in our terrace balcony and all green plants. I am thankful for colorful flowers that enhances beauty of my home. They provide oxygen and keep our home environment fresh. It’s because of this oxygen we are living healthy life.

I am thankful for all electronics in my home that includes TV, remotes, Alexa, speakers, mobiles, headphones, laptops, desktops, gadgets, cables, fan, lights, switch boards, adaptors, air conditioner, air purifier, printer, microwave, mixer grinder, electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, and washing machine. They make my life easy and comfortable.

I am thankful for all food items in my home that helps me in cooking including vegetables, groceries, cooking oil, sugar, tea powder, coffee powder, rice, wheat atta, pulses, grains, spices, milk, curd, buttermilk, ice, butter, frozen items, fruits, cookies, pickles, salt, and snacks. They help me to keep my tummy full and provide nourishment to my body.

I am thankful for all things that help me to keep my kitchen organized and help me in cooking including utensils, utensils holders, cups, glasses, plates, bowels, cutlery, spoon holder, bottles holding food items,  dining table and chairs, crockery plates, plates stand, oil dispenser, boxes holding pulses and grains, gas burner, water storage containers, water tap, filter, gas pipeline and matchbox. They help me to cook food easily and effortlessly.

I am thankful for all decorative items that make my home looks beautiful including decorative pieces, candles, baskets, fridge magnets, God’s mandir, God’s idols, diyas, pooja ritual materials and  table runner. These items give our home a fresh look.

Today, I am thankful for stationary that help me to study, learn and get organized. This includes paper, pen, display board, study tables, books, files, and library.

Thank you for all bedrooms in my house that give me privacy and space for rest. Thank you for bed bedsheets, pillows, blankets that gives me restful sleep. Thank you for cupboards that help me to organize my clothing.

I am thankful for all cosmetics that help me to get ready including skin cream, moisturizer, head massage oil, telcom powder, comb, lipgloss, mirror, jewelries, and fragrances.

I am thankful for all accessories at my wahsrooms at my home where I can clean my body well.  This includes toothpest, toothbrush, toothbrush holder, soap, liquid soap, scrubber, bath tub, buckets and shower.

I am thankful for all accessories including clocks, newspaper, curtains, exercise cycle, sofas, chairs that helps me to get relax and unwind.

I am thankful for maternal side villages home, paternal side village home, hometown home and in-law’s home where I have spent significant amount of my time in my life. 

May the divine radiance fill my home with endless blessings.

When we practice gratitude for our living space, we stepped out of the usual way and enjoy more about all little things that we already have and stepped down for more blessings.
