You hear it in songs, you see it used by brands, you probably even say it yourself but have you ever thought more deeply about what “positive vibes” really means? 

Moreover, the quote itself creates a feeling of optimism and hope… isn’t it?

And that could be the reason we human are always seeking for positivity.

The concept of positive vibes

“Positive vibes” is a colloquial expression used to describe a feeling or atmosphere of positivity, optimism, and good energy. When someone mentions “positive vibes” they are typically referring to a sense of happiness, encouragement, and optimism in a particular situation or environment. 

If you get some good news like you won a medal or an award or you achieve your goals you will have a positive vibe. You will be happy and cherished. Thus, positive vibes simply reflect a happy surrounding. In fact, this phrase is often used to promote a constructive and uplifting mindset. 

The word ‘vibes’ is actually short for ‘vibrations’ and it isn’t just used in the term ‘good vibes’, but you might have also heard it used like this – “This place is giving me good vibes”. If you feel good, happy or comfortable while meeting someone you say that the person emanates positive vibes.

Crating positive vibes

Do you know positive vibes are created by those who create good thoughts?

It may sound surprising but your thought process have great impact on your feelings. 

But the logic is simple, when you create good thoughts your mind start to look for good things in surrounding and life starts to appear apparently better.

Now, the question is what does it mean to create good thoughts?

Good thoughts are nothing but a simple process of thinking clearly, acting wisely and staying motivated in every situation. They are not just words, they carry lessons of hope, confidence and discipline. 

It shapes your mindset, action, performance and growth. It reminds you to be hopeful, stay focused, confident and motivated.

When you are in process of creating good thoughts you automatically starts to feel positive.

And the best part of positive vibes is its role in development of healthy relationship.

Yes, everyone loves to be with an optimistic person or in a cheerful environment. In fact, a happy person can make others happy.

Sharing positive feelings with someone is a wonderful experience. Every good thought about others generate feelings of love, bonding and connections. 

You see, a happy thought makes you feel happy and others too. A happy vibe means you are at a place where you are thinking positively and that is your point of attraction to goodness.

A high vibrational positive life has more ease, love, and appreciation. And therefore you need to take responsibility for your thoughts and words. Always use positive, encouraging and uplifting words. When you’re optimistic and open minded, your energy levels skyrocket.

Just have good vibes about yourself and surround yourself with positive people. When you feel positive, your smile and way of complimenting people reflect your true self. Our moods are affected by our lifestyle choices, challenges and the opportunities we’ve faced with , and most importantly the attitudes we adapt to the life we live. 

Therefore, sowing the seeds of positive thinking in your mind help you to enjoy an enriching life.

Role of smile and laughter

Smile is the easiest, cheapest and actually most influential way to spread positive vibes. Pause for a second and just appreciate what you have. Smile is contagious and people enjoy your company or your warm presence. This means you are creating an inviting, friendly or comfortable atmosphere and being in your company is a pleasant and uplifting experience for others too.

Likewise, laughter is the best medicine to spread positive vibes. Laughter release happy hormones in the brain, which in turn promote an overall sense of well-being. Surrounding yourself with upbeating people who make you laugh create a good vibes. Positive intentions create good vibes. Wanting to reach out and help creates good vibes. When we want to accomplish something, we have a positive energy which actually drives us. So, that creates positivity.
